Standard Spanish course with Málaga Plus
The Standard Spanish course is the most popular and most booked type of course at our Malaga Plus school. It offers students the perfect balance between language training and free time. Students typically spend just over 3 hours a day studying and have the rest of the day for fun. An integrated skills approach helps students develop fluency in speaking, listening, reading and writing, and teachers ensure that the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation components are applied to actual language use.
We use the most up-to-date and interactive teaching materials and techniques to help students improve their Spanish quickly. Although our standard courses follow the AULA book, published by Difusión, our teachers assess the needs and learning objectives of their students on the first day of their course and throughout their stay, and adapt their lessons accordingly. In this way, our students are motivated to continue improving, while having fun at the same time.

Morning or afternoon schedule
The standard course schedule focuses on academic time during the mornings or afternoons so that our students have the rest of the day free to plan their personal excursions in the destination. In both the mornings and afternoons we offer 3 classes per day with a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes) each day, resulting in 20 classes per week (15 hours).
Didactic material for the standard course
Our main textbook, AULA, from Diffusion Publishing, allows students to learn the language using real-life contexts with lively and engaging reading and listening texts, as well as stimulating activities and regular assessments so that they can see and measure their progress. Each level is designed to be completed in 16 weeks, as during that time the student can cover the entire level and should then automatically advance to the next level as long as their attendance is 80% or higher.
The books are offered on loan, which means that the student can use it during school hours but cannot take it home or write in it. In case the student wants to buy it, the price is 25 € and includes a cd-audio with the class auditions and an access to the online portal for one year to practice and do exercises at home. Ask for your keys with the purchase of the book!
Our certificate
All participants receive a certificate at the end of the course. With it you can prove your newly acquired knowledge of Spanish. The Málaga Plus certificate always refers to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In it you will find all the necessary information for international comparability.
Our level test
Not sure what your current level of Spanish is? Don't worry, at Málaga Plus we offer you an online level test before forming learning groups. We do this so that we can group students with a similar language level. We also offer an online placement test so that you can assess your language level independently.
