Some of the activities organised by our school during mid and high-season are the following:
Malaga has many museums which you can visit. Some of the ones that we organise trips are very famous, for instance the Picasso Museum (dedicated to the famous painter who came from Malaga) or the Carmen Thyssen Museum. Additionally, with Málaga PLUS you can discover the Alcazaba Cathedral, The Palacio de los Reyes Nazaries, (Palace of the Nazari Kings), located on mount Gibralfaro.
At Málaga PLUS we take advantage of Malaga’s beaches to provide activities in the open air. You can enjoy playing football or volleyball on the beach with other students. Additionally we offer aquatic activities like kayaking, surfing and paddle surfing!
One of our most un-missable options to practice Spanish in Malaga is going out to eat Tapas! This is a very common activity for the locals in Malaga and indeed for people all across Spain. Another famous Spanish dish that you absolutely have to try during your time in Spain is Paella. We even offer Paella classes in our school, as well as classes on world cooking or making sangria.
At Málaga PLUS we also organise excursions to nearby cities as well as other internationally famous cities. You could go to Granada to discover the famous Alhambra, visit Seville and its famous cathedral, Cordoba and its mosque or Ronda with its bullring. If you want to discover more coastal cities you can travel with us to Tarifa where you can practice surfing, go to Nerja- to the world famous Marbella, to Cadiz or even to Gibraltar.
In addition to all of this Málaga PLUS organises many other activities like going to the cinema, doing salsa or flamenco classes or visiting the San Miguel brewery. With all of this, aside from having fun you will learn a lot about the customs and lifestyle of the Spanish people and their language. Any activity or excursion can be possible given enough notice and a minimum number of participants. To continue you can take a look at a document which the students receive every week with examples of the activities that are usually offered during mid-season.
