The Málaga Plus Activity Program

Besides studying Spanish, you surely want to find out more about typical Spanish culture and customs. Therefore Academia Málaga Plus has organised a varied programme of leisure activities.

Especially on the weekends we organise one-day trips to Granada, Sevilla, Córdoba, Ronda, Gibraltar-Marbella or Antequera-El Torcal. Nerja (with the caves) and Frigiliana are both famous for their whites houses. Other attractive destinations are Morocco or Sierra Nevada, a beautiful National Park, particularly famous for trekking and skiing. Join us and visit these wonderful places!

Our reception provides a rent-a-car-service (with Europcar), which offers special promotional prices for students in mid season. To save your time, the car will be delivered directly to our school.

In addition to our excursions and leisure activities reception will give you helpful advice at any time, to get to know Malaga and Andalucia on your own. They also provide information about transport.

Intercambio

A great opportunity to get in touch with Spanish students is to watch out for exchange students, who want to practise another foreign language (English, German, French etc.). You will find notes on our notice board or get more information at reception.

Other activities

Academia Málaga Plus organizes activities such as: Beachvolley and basketball. Our staff will provide the material you need to practise diferent sports. It is totally free of charge and fun is guaranteed. In our reception we also provide information about all types of activities and sports that are not included in our programs.

Furthermore we provide information for tennis and squash facilities as well as nearby golf courses. The Costa del Sol is also highly known as the 'Costa del golf'. About sixty golf courses exist within Andalusia, half of them are on the Costa del Sol. The fine weather allows golf to be popular all year round.

Mountain Hiking

Enjoy the magnificant view of Malaga's coast and our district from the nearby mountain top of San Antón that we climb every Wednesday. Don’t forget to bring a pair of comfortable shoes and enough water for the whole activity.

Tapas Tour

Our most popular activity is the Tapatour, we go to the center to taste different tapas(small portions of food) and wines. The tour goes from the oldest wine cellar, through the small streets in the city center, to the restaurant where we will have dinner. The price includes all the tapas and drinks.

Paella

The Paella of Don Luis is something that you will never forget. Try the traditional paella cooked by our chef. The paella cooking lesson takes place at one of our terraces and you will receive a recipe that you can use to impress your family when you go back to your country. The price includes food, drinks and bread.
